Short Family Summer Vacation

8/8/08 - Okay, I have our little vacation all planned out, and it looks like there is plenty to do and see in Joplin!  My hubby hates it when I plan.  He would rather just go and see where we land.  But now that we have our four-year old granddaughter with us, it's better to have a plan of action.  Children just do better when there is some sort of schedule. 

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this little four day vacation.  It's nothing too elaborate, too expensive, too extended, or too exhausting.  It will be just a nice little "family" vacation.  And if there are activities that the hubby would rather not do, I did locate a couple pool halls in town that he could visit.  And who knows, after he checks it out, we may find out that one or both are "family" friendly places where we can all go have a sandwich for lunch.
