Tue 07/22/08 (day 1)

Day of arrival!

We flew out of Indy at 9:30 PM. We were hoping to sleep on the flight so we wouldn't be so exhausted on Wednesday. Luckily, no one was sitting between us so Ella was able to sleep soundly during the second half of our flight.

Ella had fun playing on the plane for the first hour then she conked out!

We arrived in San Francisco around 12:00 AM and took a cab to our hotel. Ella was wide awake for the cab ride!

After checking in and getting settled, we walked over to Walgreens to get water and snacks for the next day then it was time for some much needed rest!

I'm from Indy and traveling to San Francisco next week! I loved reading about your trip... it will help me to plan mine.
I'm hoping to get north of the city to see the giant redwoods. :) You made it sound close enough that I will throw it in one day.
