In-N-Out Burger
This place is proof that fast food can be fresh and good! Why do I like In-N-Out Burger? The burger's deliciousness transcends the ordinary; I can't get enough amazing animal style fries; and the milkshakes are one of the most yummy ethereal food concoctions devised by humans. In-N-Out has the absolute best "fast food" burgers ever. Whether you're ordering from the "secret" menu or straight up, you won't be disappointed.

My son is an Environment Science-Watershed major at CSUMB in Seaside, CA. This is his second year in school and loves it in Monterey, his roommate surfs the bay and their dorm room has a view of Monterey Bay, what more could you ask for while going to school. I try to visit him at least every 6-8 weeks, just for getaway. CSUMB is very focused on preserving the natural habitat the local resources/watershed and work with the Aquarium and UC Santa Cruz!

Love Monterey. I took my kids there 2 years ago and stayed at Motel 6. It was super clean. I rented a car and drove from San Fran and stopped in Monterey for 3 days and continued driving all the way to Santa Barbara. It was awesome and I didn't break my wallet.

Cool to see where you were going in Monterey, since I live there. Haha. I havn't to been to a bunch of those places, now I'm thinking I should check them out before I move out of the area. I would recommend going to Bubba Gumps, Pizza my Heart, and checking out Carmel state beach, and whale watching off of Fisherman's Warf:) And the drive to Big Sur is amazing, but not recommened if you easily get car sick or afraid of heights.
