New Journal Entry
Well the first day we just traveled the whole day pretty much. Our bodies didn't like not eating little snacks every so often and I had really bad abdominal pain for the rest of the day. We got to the Kingsmill Resort after getting out Devon's dad GPS as the AAA instructions were a little confusing and I knew we were off when we got into Williamsburg itself.
At the resort we checked in and went to our room. The resort has the rooms in a little apartment/townhouse setting so there are maybe 6 rooms to a building. Ours had a view of the marina and James River.
After settling in for a bit we decided to go down to the marina to sit outside and relax in front of the river (which was big and looked very lake-like) and then we went to the marina grill to get something to eat. I got an angus burger and Devon got a Budweiser BBQ chicken sandwich. After that we were pretty much exhausted and went to bed.
