Woke up earily in the moring to catch the Greyhound bus which we had bought the tickets weeks before to Downtown Detroit.
It is not a sunny day as I remembered, the rain was drippling from the grey sky. When my husband and I reached the station located in D'D, something appeared in the views of us: a church, standing in front of the road side, but we didn't take photoes at that moment.
Fellow the map, an interesting "train" running in the pending rail above, and we knew that is people mover.
It seems just two coaches going round and round the rail in the downtown.
The walls of the station painted with all kinds of pictures, but I didn't make sense what it represent.
Traveling on the people mover, seems like you can see more things than you walked. But I didn't like the rainy day and it made me feel down, and cold.
After the route of several stations, we stopped at "Boardway Station", and to our surprises, the Miller hotel is one block to us!
Miller hotel, a good visitor's accomendation, the price is amazing low!
It might be noon as we settled down our things in the hotel. The front desk was so nice althought it just had one staff there, and not busy.
As our plan , we would go to the Consulate of Canada tomorrow morning, so we were going to have our fun-trip now.
From some kinds of travel website, I can see the sharing of others: Detroit is a city with classical mobile, but "depression" is an accurate word now to describe the city!! That's right! All I found is "depression" full of city.
May be downtown would not be so disappointed.
Hovering around the city, we found a building looks like a church with the classical mode. And a flat of U.S was standing in front of the buliding. But after a view of the Instrution, we found it is the mucinipal government buliding.
Of course, the famous Casino we can't miss.Greektown sounds like a place of interest showing on the website of travel. It a street where is full of restaurauts and Athens shops, casino is an necessary entertament where guys shoud go.
It is the front door of the Casino.
We had dinner there and had a walk after the dinner around the plaza near GM Building.
Fatigue came to us and backed to hotel and had a good night.
