Miami Beach and Key Largo Anniversary Trip (June 2008)

We had a nice meal at TGI Friday's at DFW Airport and then we caught our flight about 5:15 pm CDT. We arrived at Miami International about 9:30 pm EDT and arrived at the PARK Central about 11 p.m. after waiting for luggage and getting a shuttle ride over the car rental place to pick up a car. Note: The Hertz place was very organized and had all our reservations ready to go so we made it into a car very quickly and easily. This was our first time in Miami. We were glad that we came in at night. The skyline on the way in was impressive and Ocean Drive on Miami Beach was beautiful at night as well. We like the looks of the Park Central as we got there. Parking????? It was scarce and we didn't know where the parking garages were so we used the Valet Parking. Next time I'll use the Parking Garage on 7 Street. The hotel staff was very courteous and our bellhop was helpful as well. Our room was a little small but we loved the nostalgic feel. After a short walk down Ocean Drive (the night life was still going strong), we turned in for the evening.
