Europe 2008

Naomi met us at the house this morning, so we packed up all the suitcase's in the car and swung by the office to take care of some last minute things, then we were off to pick up Aunt Betty at thier house. We ended up leaving Pickwick uneventfully around 11:30am. We stopped in Savannah to grab some fast food as well as one last stop at the Wal-Mart for a couple small things we managed to forgot during our four previous trips to Wal-Mart in the week prior. The drive to Nashville went very smooth other than an area of heavy, heavy rain on I-65. The weather quickly cleared up and we spotted our Thrifty hotel from the interstate so no getting lost and check-in was a breeze, the internet worked... so far so good! Emma called she was visiting with Rachel's parents and should be here shortly. She will complete the southern delagation going on the trip which consists of Aunt Betty, Naomi, Emma, Lee and myself. We will be meeting Uncle Bill, Aunt Eunice, Aunt Marie, Uncle Duke & Aunt Karen when we get to Chicago tomorrow. There is no spell check on this thing so I apologize for my horrible english and spelling...

Emma made it in and we all went to Buster & Dave's, down by the Cumberland River/Grand Ole Opry area. Having never been there we wanted to see what all the fuss is about. Food was good, service was slow, the company was great. Then we settled in and watched Shrek 3. Time to go, we have a longgg day tomorrow.
