My Vacation

I will be vacationing in the city of Ikeja, Nigeria. I have never been to Aferica and am looking foward to the trip. One question?? Do they accept American money?

This trip was three years in the making, from the moment I told Bassey I would come for a visit 3 years ago not knowing the cost til this month when I was finally able to visit. When he first told me about the visa requirement and I saw the price of a ticket there I was convinced it wasn't going to happen. So when it did that made it all the more sweet.

I only saw naira being used but there are banks and you can exchange money at any airport in the international terminal.

I also went on a trip to Lagos Nigeria. At the time of my trip i went to meet my fiance we got married on Sep. 13,2008. Lagos is a beautiful place to visit and i do hope on your trip that you got to see more of lagos and the tight traffic.

Also Ikeja is beautiful, I have been to nigeria 6 times and planning another trip there in March 2009.Enjoy your trip take lots of pictures.

I had a wonderful time dispite the traffic and air pollution. Bassey's friends were great. I can't wait to plan my next trip in spring of 2009.

Hello Ladies: I have enjoyed viewing your photos and reading your comments. It is great to see that others like myself have gotten envolved with these wonderful Nigerian men and are doing great. Yes, I've heard about the challenges that we must face to be with our African kings and it is quite sad. I am planning a trip for June 2009 and would love to talk to you ladies about it. Also, it would be great if we could create a place or get each other's email address so that we could communicate on a regular basis with our questions and concerns. I happened to come across this site when I was searching the internet to find information on visiting Nigeria. I don't remember who the person was, but the woman that commented on visiting first and then marrying later, I would like to talk to you.

My fiancee and I are trying to be together by christmas, living in the same country that is. Yes its a lot of work but I have been told that anything worth having is worth working for. We are chatting on line now just remembering our time together and planning for a wonderful 2009.
