The planning process

Numbers, there are a lot of numbers to remember. Our baby is 5 1/2 months old, but is technically only 4 months old according to his due date. There are only seven Mondays left before classes end. Then we have five days to pack and get ready for our trip with this convoluted itinerary: Islamabad - Bangkok - Cebu - Surigao - Cebu - (Manila) - (Taipei) - (Seattle) - Wenatchee - (Seattle) - (Taipei) - (Bangkok) - Islamabad. If I get a Canadian visa we're also driving to Vancouver. Baby J will be 7 months old then. How many baby bottles, how many toys, and how many diapers do we need to pack? How many hours are we going to spend in planes, airports, and each place? Are there airline restrictions for the weight and size of baby strollers?

Please be careful about putting your baby's picture and any information on the Internet. It is such a wonderful way to share delightful stories like yours, and I wish you a safe and happy trip. But we have all learned (or should have) how dangerous a place the Internet can be. This technology that was originally developed by 2 professors at Stanford (not Al Gore) who didn't want to have to walk all the way down the hall to give the other a love note, was obviously based in the communication of love.
