Two excellent small cruise ships with easyCruise Life just edging it with more facilities and space.
Good itineraries and ports of call, moorings normally at, or near to, the centre of town.
But late morning arrivals mean some pre-planning essential.
My Highlights:-
Grilled fish on the waterfront in Athens.
The early morning passage through the Corinth Canal.
My first moussaka in a family run taverna in the centre of Vathy.
The walk into the town of Gaios on Paxos.
Some of the small ports in the Ionian Sea that the captain took us into just for a look.
Mussels and clams in a cream sauce with pasta on the harbourfront in Sami, Kefallonia.
Hydra/Ídra - a charming town and enclosed harbour with winding, narrow cobbled streets and no cars or scooters - bliss. And a couple of first class meals at the Pirate Bar at the harbour and Omilos' below the cliffs.
The beach at Masouri on Kalymnos.
Dinner at Beyyépa Taverna in the town of Naoussa on Paros.
And finally the beach at Áyios Stéfanos on Mykonos and the Mykonos Town itself at sunset and in the evening.
Went on a cruise of the Greek Islands back in 2002. Went during April but would love to go back during their summer. One of the most beautiful places on Earth that I have seen! Of course,Sydney comes in at a close second.
I was hoping to take a 2 week trip to greece, including a 1 week cruise to see the greek isles, and then stay on the main land of greece. would that be possible with this cruise, and around how much would the cost be?
