DAY 1:

*i arrived at the airport at 12:00AM at LAX and I was very excited when the plane departed at 12:30. My flight was non-stop so i didn't have to wait too long to get to my destination. I watched a movie called Finding Nemo on the plane. When the movie was over, I tried to fall asleep. But, I couldn't because the man who was sitting next to me was snoring. Loudly. I couldn't wake him up so I just went on my computer and e-mailed my friends. I hoped that they would reply quickly. I was relieved when I was finally at the airport in South Korea. My grandma, aunt, uncle, and cousins were there to greet me. It was very nice of them because even though it was 5:15PM, it was 9:15AM in their time. They drove me to a car rental place and I got a red compact car. It was a Hyundai Avante and it costed 44,000 won a day so that made a total of 264,000 won. After renting my car, I went out to lunch with my family. We ate at a reatsaurant called Ipanema. I ordered a brazilian barbecue dish called Churascaria. It was 23,000won and it was very delicious! After that, I parted with my family and checked into my hotel. It was called The Westin Chosun Hotel and it costed 2,116,000 Won to stay for the whole trip. After settling in, I went to a town called Minsokchon. The admission fee was only 18,000won. I got to see the different things they ate and did. I t was very fun and i learned a lot about how people used to live back then. After I left Minsokchon, I went to a restaurant called Korea House. There, I ate a bowl of rice mixed with kimchi and korean barbecue. It costed 35,000won. After eating my dinner, I went back to my hotel and went to bed.

DAY 2:

*I ate breakfast at the hotel for free and got ready to drive to the 63 building. I bought the package tour which meant I could go to the 63 skydeck, 63 seaworld, and the 63 imax theater. During my visit to the 63 building, I saw the Harbor Seal Show at the 63 seaworld, I saw a beautiful view of the famous Han River while I was at the 63 skydeck, and I watched a movie called Mystery of the Nile at the 63 imax. I had a lot of fun at the 63 building. I ate a barbecue shrimp pizza at a market called Gmarket for my late lunch. It costed 17,000 won and it was very yummy! After eating lunch, I went to the Hmall and bought a pair of earrings as a souveneir. It was from a brand called AND.I and it was 22,000 won. I went to the hotel and watched TV for the rest of the afternoon. For dinner, I had the crunchy chicken set from KFC delivered to me. It was 4,000 won and I tipped the deliverer 1,000 won. Today was a very exciting day!!!

DAY 3:

*I ate breakfast at the hotel again and I drove to the Coex Aquarium. The admission fee was 13,000 won. At the aquarium, I saw many different species of fish and other sea creatures. I ate a cheeseburger and a bottle of water at the snack bar in ther aquarium for 7,000 won. I stayed at the aquarium a little bit longer and went back to my hotel. I took a nap and drove to the War Memorial of Korea. The cost was 3,000 won and there were amazing statues of soldiers. There were many examples of guns, tanks, and other weapons they used when at war. It was very cool to see and I learned a lot by going to that memorial. For dinner, I went to a restaurant called Samwon Garden. I ate spicy beef short rib stew and a soft drink all for 13,000 won. Today was very interesting.

DAY 4:

*For breakfast, I went out to a place called Kraze Burgers. I had a Polish dog and a drink for 10,000 won. While I was waiting for my order to come out, I spotted my aunt, uncle, and cousins. I started to chat with them and they invited me to go to a place called Children's Grand Park for my cousin's birthday. I said yes and after eating my brekfast, I went to the mall to by my cousin's birthday present. He was turning 11 so I bought him the game Mario Party 8. It costed 51,000 won. When I arrived at the Children's Grand Park, I was surprised. I thought it would be a small park where kids played, but it turned out to be a big amusement park! After I paid the price for going to all of the exhibits(47,000won), I had a lot of fun watching all of the parades, shows, and concerts. But, the highlight of my day was riding on the ack of an elephant! I was a little scared at first, but it was fun once i tried it. We had a picnic lunch that my aunt had packed. It consisted of sandwiches, juice, and fruit. We stayed there until it got dark and went to an Italian restaurant called Puccini. I ate spaghetti for 16,000 won and it was very good! Today was fantastic!!!

DAY 5:

*I ate breakfast at the hotel again and I went to the Lotte Mall to buy my self a swim suit for my trip to everland. I bought a swim suit for 57,400 won, a pair of flip-flops for 25,000 won, and swim cap for 3,000 won because it was required. After that, I had lunch at Korea House where I ate fish tail soup for 50,000 won. When I was at Everland, I paid the admission fee of 26,000 won. When I was about to go on a water slide, a little kid pushed me in before I had a chance to prepare myself! I got water up my nose and everything! That was the highlight of my day for sure. I had a lot of fun going on the water slides, roller coasters, and looking at the scenery. I ate dinner at a restaurant called Koryeo Jeong. There, I ate a course meal that included soup, korean barbecue, a dish called kimchi (which was spicy), and clamshells. It was very delicious and costed 50,000 won. I went back to the hotel with a full stomache and prepared for the next day.

DAY 6 (FINAL)

*Today was the last day!!! I was excited to go back home, but I was also sad to be leaving South Korea. So, before I left for my flight, I made a visit to the Seoul Grand Park. Suprisingly, the admission was free even though it was a zoo. It was interesting, fun, and educational at the same time! I saw bears, giraffes, dolphins, and much more. I had a great time! At 1:00, I left the zoo and drove to the Icheon Airport where someone would pick up my car. At exactly 2:30 PM, I boarded the plane and was surprised to find out the same man from my first flight. This time, I was prepared. I thought ahead and brought ear plugs!!! I actually got some sleep on the plane this time. When I arrived at LAX, my friends greeted me and we went out for dinner.I had a great time in Seoul, South Korea!
