Well the road trip went very well. We left at 7:00 and got here at 4:00 as planned, with about 4 stops. One on Jonesboro road and got some Burger king, one in Perry to stretch and get something to drink, one in Valdosta to eat lunch and get gas and one last one before the turn pike also to stretch. We got a bit longer one there since the attendant had a “back in five minutes sign” up. We checked and he wasn’t playing hockey on the roof. LOL. He actually got that joke and we traded a few more "Clerks" lines on the way out. One of the more notable things on the way down. Going to Gatlinburg we counted Cracker Barrels, but going to Florida we counted adult billboards. lmao. Honestly, I never expected to see so many, the more we drove the more we saw.
The Villa is wonderfully gorgeous, even bigger than on the net. http://www.vrbo.com/global/siteFrame.asp?mainurl=http%3a%2f%2fwww.exclusiveorlandovillas.com%2f&returnurl=/81944. We unloaded and unpacked. We just beat the first rain. Then we got in car and went to dinner at Denny’s on 27, then to Publix. I had already checked their circular online and had packed a few things and made up a menu of what we were eating here. I guesstimated the cost and was really only $4 off. We went swimming after that, even through it had just stormed and the sun was down, my daughter just had to try to pool, brr. Well it wasn’t too bad after 5 minutes. The neighbors think we’re one off, I’m sure. They came out with flashlights at 9pm when we were sitting out there. After the pool it was two rounds of 8 ball on the pool table with margaritas, while the kids surfed the net. I can tell you that I slept well.
