Road Trip to Reno, NV March 2008
Thu 03/20/08 (day 1)
Day 1 - The day with all the driving.
We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Medford not the Best Western mostly because I like the way the toiletries smell, the beds are super comfortable and the showerheads are awesome!!! . It was a full day of driving, with no major hang-ups, listening to Xm and mp3s along the way (heavy on the '80's). Had dinner at the Jackson Creek Pizza Co. in Medford. The pizza was great and the place was absolutely packed with hippy-ish 20 somethings for open-mic night (Note: If you plan on reading a poem, please rehearse a little before hand...or maybe...umm...know how to read our own writing!) . Now back at the hotel, camped out with magazines and Sonic Blasts.

Lake Tahoe was beautiful and we were able to sit on the beach and even pur our feet in the lake.
Virginia City was a nice adventure. It was very touristy but there was a store where they sold the best Saltwater taffy I ever had.
The casinos were fun also.
Great Place to visit.
