We started our Paris vacation by checking into our hotel and having brunch somehwere nearby.
Tip- If you request your hotel, they can hold onto your international luggage (if you have any) and you can go on day/night trips outside Paris..
Another
good tip- if you have traveller's checks to exchange, do it at the airport only if you need to, it's not a guaranteed better rate but make sure if you get visa TCs to go to a visa counter and amex TCs to an amex counter, otherwise you will be charged a hefty service charge (upto 7 euros)
We tried to get into the Rodin museum before it shut and the museum pass we had bought allowed us to visit most of the famous museums unlimited times. So museum pass is definitely a good idea if you plan to visit more than two museums in Paris. It actually covered Versaille castle as well.
Then we had bought a combo ticket from our hotel for mouline rouge and a night bus ride of Paris. The trip included a free boat ride which we were not aware of.
Tip: The moulin rouge show doesn't include dinner and after the show (which ends at 1.00 am Paris time),they don't give you much time to grab a bite before the bus leaves..
