New Journal Entry

July 24th, 2008:

We will wake up at around 6am to be able to get ready on time and have breakfast at the resort. We will then go to Xcaret pickup point at 8:30am to board the bus that takes us to Xcaret.

We will enjoy the entire day at Xcaret

We will definitely be doing Sea Trek at Xcaret because it looks so amazing...           Image

We are still undecided as to whether or not we're going to take the 6:30 bus back from Xcaret or stay for the night shows and return at 9:30pm. It really depends on how much energy we have left and if we would prefer to spend our night doing something else.

Try the "Royal in Cancun". My wife and I went in March 2012. Fabulous all inclusive. GREAT food at every meal. Not cheap but worth it!
Several properties have the word "royal" in it.
This is a "Real" hotel group property.

We honeymooned in Cancun in August. All I can say is that it is HOT! We planned to go to Chichen Itza but it was 100 degrees, in the shade, on the water. We cancelled the trip and instead, went to Xel-Ha twice, with one time taking the bus down to the Tulum ruins right over the ocean. It was beautiful! We were bummed abotu missing Chichen Itza, but it was the best decision. Hopefully you can maintain some flexibility. Another thing we did was rent a Jeep and drove down to Playa del Carmen--soo beautiful! Another tip: You'll have to buy eco-friendly sunscreen at the ecological parks.
