New Journal Entry

So here are our plans for our honeymoon so far but its still a work in prgress....

July 23rd, 2008:

Our Jet Blue flight is scheduled to depart from New York at 9:50am and arrive in Cancun at 12:50pm.

We will be picked up at the airport by a car service and taken directly to the Grand Oasis Playa where we will be staying. I am assuming that we will arrive at the resort shortly before 3pm which is the check-in time but am hoping that we will be able to check in as soon as we arrive. However, if we cannot check in, we will still be leaving our luggage behind.

We will then take the bus or a taxi to downtown Cancun to go see an actual bullfight at the Plaza de Toros. Bullfights are held here every Wednesday at 3pm.

Afterwards we will walk around downtown Cancun for a short time before heading back to the hotel to shower and change for dinner.

It being our first night there, we will most likely stay within the resort... maybe drink some champagne while relaxing in our personal jacuzzi and call in for some room service.

Going to Cancun in May (towards the end of May) I am looking for an Clothing optional resort, does anyone have any suggestions on a good one. We are in our mid to late 30's. We had planned on staying at Desire's. Does any one have any information on different things I should plan to take.

we stayed at excellence playa mujeres and had a great time! It was so relaxing and fun. They had so many activties to do that were included. It was the best honeymoon ever!

I stayed at the exact same resort in 03' it was awesome! just take advantage of what you paid for! you dont really have to tip that much! just tip and first and be nice! go on the bar hopping tour! best 50 bucks you will ever spend! Also go deep sea fishing if you can ! you will never forget it! Scott

I have been to Cancun many times. I own two timeshares in the area, one in Cancun and one Puerto Morelos (about 10 miles south of Cancun).
My wife and I love it there so much we are planning on moving there in March 09. you won't find a more friendly people anywhere in the Carribean.
I have a week available in my Cancun timeshare that I need to sell if anyone is interested it is a five star resort called Royal Sunset. I have a standard room which is very nice with a mini kitchen. It is all inclusive for 7 nights saturday to saturday for $1800.00. You can go anytime this year up to the 2nd week in Dec.
