East Coast Adventure

...literally. Bit of a hard touchdown at BWI, prompting the otherwise staid flight attendant to comment (quasi-sarcastically) "We've landed."

We enjoyed Baltimore's Inner Harbor, especially the National Aquarium. "$20 each? Eh--it's vacation!" The main pool at the heart of the aquarium is amazing; we could have spent the whole day mezmerized by all the rays.

Had a fabulous lunch at Phillips ...I had the world-famous crab cake sandwich, Jenna, the world-famous crab cake platter. Despite our rather odd waitress (no substitutions, kept rushing to fill our water), our meal was absolutely delightful.

We toured the USS Constellation,

Took the train back to BWI, had no problem picking up our luggage, and caught the hotel shuttle to our room. After a  short night in Baltimore, we were ready for our excursion to NYC.
