We leave Tokyo first thing in the morning and leave to Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park
. I have to say, I didn't really enjoy this place. The rotten egg smell gave me a headache, haha. We then took the cable car ride to a ship through Lake Ashi
(gorgeous place, btw) that took us in front of Hakone Hotel (I believe) for lunch buffet. The buffet was really good, especially this mango pudding I had. It was so delicious, I kept going back for more! After lunch, we went outside. The houses, were very beautiful and vrey oriental. It looked like such a peaceful and stable environment; the roads there were very neat.
I guess we just called it a day after that. We went straight to
our hotel, New Akao Hotel
. It has been said that this hotel is very famous because it's the only hotel on the ocean (?). I think the outside view was very beautiful and relaxing. There was a little "garden" place you can walk around, which was
nice. I'm not really used to Japanese tradition, so I was a little freaked out by the room when I first went it, but it's not so bad. The view from our room was nice. I felt like this hotel was gonna smell bad and was dirty. It was big, I have to say, and very confusing. I did not like the dining hall, though. It was so crowded and I just didn't have a pleasant feeling.
