2004 Hawaii Summer Vacation

Saturday, June 12th
Our trip with my two grandmas, parents, and cousin was about to begin. The limo picked us up at my Grandma Laura's house. We got on the airplane at 10:15 am. Before we left Chicago, we enjoyed some McDonald's breakfast and Starbucks. On our United flight, we got Pretzel Snacks, chicken and mash potatoe lunch, and towards then end of the flight a snack sandwhich. It was a long eight hour flight. When we arrived my mom and I both bought a lei. We were able to catch a limo taxi to drive us to the Pacific Monarch. When we got to the hotel, we unpacked and then went swimming of the roof top. To end our first day of traveling, we ordered pizza from Papa John's and went to bed around 8:00 which really meant midnight in Chicago time.
