Cruise To Cozumel, Mexico

The cruise line with send you all that information. Excursions, tipping schedules, etc. They also on board will give you little "no detailed" maps of the main area, and most times one of the first places you stop in to after getting off the ship will have maps with advertisements on them for you to take.

Don't worry about getting lost, It's all part of the adventure. Just plan to be back on the boat an hour or two before it leaves and you'll have plenty of time to make it back, do some last second shopping or sight seeing and time to shower and get ready for dinner.

thank you for writing me back. i just have a few more questions. first, when we are stopped at the ports will it be hard to find my way around? do i need a map or something? i just wouldn't want to get lost and then miss the ship. also, how do you book excursions? and how do you know which ones are available? lastly, you said the tipping schedule would be in my information but i booked through travelocity. was i supposed to get some sort of packet with information? who did you book your cruise with? sorry if i have a lot of questions. thank you

It is advised to book the excursion in advance, just because you wanna make sure you get it. It isn't like the airlines where they will get cheaper closer to the time. Also, don't buy a "walking tour" or something like that. You can walk by yourself without paying for it.

As far as money goes. Make sure you bring enough to tip the servers and stateroom attendant. The tipping schedule will be in your information. Other than that... Only what you think you'll spend in the casino or on souvenirs.

Travelers Cheques are not an essential part of it either. I did that once and won't ever again on a cruise. :)

hey, this is jack's sister. i just had a questions. since I have never been on a cruise and i don't travel much i would like to know if there is anything essential to remember to bring or do before we go? I am paying for me and my sister so how much money do you recommend i bring? also, do you have to book the excursions in advance?

All I can say is enjoy your time there. There is a lot to do on the boat and don't try to do it all in one day (especially if you have one or two full days on the seas) and see all that you can see while on the island.

Take lots of pictures, and don't be afraid to gamble a little on the ship. Most importantly, have fun and don't over-pack. (You'll need room for all of your gifts/souvenirs.)

I wish you luck with that... Vacations away like that are really sometimes just what is needed to put some spark into (or back into) a relationship when you get tired of the same old every day routine.

Yeah, there was plenty to do on the boat. We just kinda did our own thing for excursions. The stuff we wanted to do we found cheaper on our own.
