Tue 02/12/08 (day 1)

Abflug DUS über MUC nach BKK

Bald gehts los, jippie, noch nicht mal mehr 1 Monat und wir sitzen im Flieger nach Thailand. So langsam werden wir richtig kribbelig und sind so glücklich das wir 4 ganze Wochen dieses Traumland erobern.
Hoffentlich überstehen wir den Flug.
Los gehts ab Düsseldorf über München, wo wir noch 3 Stunden Aufenthalt haben, bevor es los geht. Dann heisst es 10 Stunden Flug *Hölle* aber wir wollen es ja nicht anders.
Drückt uns die Daumen das wir unsere bereits reservierten Plätze noch in Notausgangsplätze tauschen können, sonst heisst es 10 Stunden Höllentrip für unsere langen Knochen.
Wir haben schon alle notwendigen Unterkünfte gebucht und unsere Route steht auch schon :-)

Ow wow, that's next week allready! This is a great time of the year to go there with the wheater conditions that we have in Europe at the moment! (rain and storm in the Netherlands, for weeks now) I have to be a bit more patient i'm afraid, our trip is in April, but i'm having lots of previous vacation fun with all the things you can find on the internet! ;-)

You said that you've allready booked all accomodation in front but i miss the one you've booked for Koh Samui on the trip schedule, so when you're back i would love to hear where you stayed on Koh Samui and if you liked the place because we want to go there for 5 days or so on the next trip but we never book in front.

Well, i hope you will have a super vacation trip with sunshine every day, yummy thai food and other vacation fun, living the good life for the next couple of weeks and i hope to read/see lots of stories and pictures from your trip. Enjoy!

i love thailand,been going there and calling it my second home for the last 4 years...pattaya city,bangkok,chaing mai.koh chang,koh samet ..buiram ..thailand is the best vacation spot in the world and you get so much for your money...cant wait till i get back there new years eve..

Bangkok - Oppressive heat, very heavy slow traffic, smog, people lying in the sidewalks having mutilated themselves or children to beg, unsafe sex trade and only the finest restaurants have food Americans think of as Thai. If I never see it again I'll be all the happier for it.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THOSE WHO LIKE DIFFERENT ASMOSPHERE SHOULD GO UP TO NORTH EASTERN PART OF THAILAND SPARE SOMETIMES THERE, DON'T SPENT WHOLE MONTH ON THE BEACHS, FROM NORTHEASTHERN TOURING YOU WAY UP TO NORTH GUARRANTEED YOU WILL LOVE TO SEE REAL TYPICALS THAI LIVES,TAKE SOME SHORT TRIP ON THE TRAIN TAKE SOME LOCAL BUS, GO THERE ON THE WINTER TIME MOST PARTS WEATHER AROUND 65-75 DEGREE.
