Chi at Last

Although we had some difficulty in Chicago the city proved to be quite charming. To a New Yorker, Chicago is too strikingly similar to be anything exceptional. Except for it's impeccable cleanliness, relative lack of noise pollution, and gorgeous architecture, the Big Apple easily supersedes the Windy City as a major metropolis. If you're looking for quaint, tranquil, well-groomed, and a peace of mind in a major city than I'd say head on over to the blues town.

Since our itinerary was too jam packed for such a short stay we decided to wing it, traversing the city at our own pace while keeping in mind some of the places we wanted to check out. If there is one phenomenal thing about Chi-town is its cuisine. It is no wonder why it is considered the nation's best food town as, regardless of how obscure the place we ate at, we never had a bad taste in our mouth. We loved Julius Meinl, the West Egg Cafe, Hot Doug's, and a few others not on our itinerary. Part of me wishes Chicago could deliver across state lines because the food itself beckons another visit.
