Deprted Ahmedabad at midnight of 26-2-2010 in a hired taxi travelled down to Nashik to Shirdi to Shingnapur. On arrival at Nashik [ The City of Pilgrimage] at 1035 hrs, we had some problem as there were not proper road signs or directions to travel to Shingnapur. We travelled quite a few kilometre on the Mumbai road, then on realising we asked a passers by and got the right direction. Later we arrived at Shirdi at 1315 hrs, booked a hotel, got afresh and started for Shingnapur. It was a Saturday and we reached Shingnapur at 1700 hrs thro the bad kutcha roads and there was also good congestion and traffic jams. Had the divine Darshan of Shani Maharaj wearing the wet Pitambari dhoti provided by the Pandas on some charges with the Prasadas. After Darshan of Shani Dev we returned to Shirdi. And on Sunday qued up in the morning at 0730 hrs and subsequently had Darshan of Sai Baba and received His blessings at about 0830 hrs. Unfortunately due to shortage of time could not visit the Dwarakamai. It is our bad luck. At noon on the same day we left for Nashik. From Nashik we travelled down to Trimbakeswar which is at a distance of 30 kms or so. On Monday it was HOLI, so arrabgements were there in the Sunday evening for Holika Dahan, which is being celebrated in a unique way by the local populace. On Monday we qued up for the Darshan of Lord Trimbakeswar quite early in the morning and the Darshan of the Lord at about 0800 hrs. Mind became cool and pleasant and peaceful. Felt like sitting there for hours together. Later visited the Godavari Kund where Maha Kumbh is also celebrated and Pinda Dan made.
It was great trip. I hope the visitors shall be benefited with this input.
May Lord Bless You All.
