Planning Stages

Date: 01 JAN 07.

We booked our flight and car for the entire trip plus the first two nights' hotel in San Juan tonight; however, we were thinking of changing our trip to two weeks instead of 8 days but I don't know if I can change the flight without severe monetary penalties. I'll have to see.

We haven't booked anything else as far as hotels go, since I prefer to travel freely with nothing tying us down.  We have a basic outline of what we want to see and where, but didn't secure hotel rooms for the other corners of the Island so we could just go as  we needed and don't feel obligated to get anywhere on specific dates.  It's less stressful in some ways, but more in others - with availability of rooms when we need them.

If anyone has any suggestions on tourism, please let us know! :)

While on vacation, a large group of us went to "Las Croabas" and enjoyed the atmosphere, artesans. They sell many interesting crafts - among them -beautiful colorful hammocks!
They have many bar/restaurants and a hotel or two. We took a ferry to see that particular bioluminescent bay and the ride was nice but all the microorganisms are gone!!! Great place to take group pics!!
IF you really want to see bioluminescence then go to Fajardo, Puerto Rico and check it out on a kayak!!!!
