Spring Break

Feb. 20, 2008

Today, I packed the rest of my bags and then I made sure that I had everything I needed. I can not go anywhere without my cell phone and when I was on my way to the airport, I left it at home. So I had to go back and get it. So, then when I arrived at the airport, it was so packed. Everyone and they momma was there trying to go some where for spring break. Well, I already know that I'm going to have so much fun, especially since I am going to be meeting my x boyfriend there. We haven't seen eachother in a while and we are very close, so i decided that since I am going on this trip, maybe I should spend some time with him too. I got my ticket out and I made sure I could find my flight. I arrived 2 hours early so that I can get through the security check and still have time to get on the plane. I have never been on a plane before so I was so scared!! Okay the plane is moving....I think I'm just going to listen to music and take a nap.

I am finally here!! Thank God the plane DID NOT CRASH!!! Neways, my x boyfriend was there to pick me up and he drove me to my hotel. I took my things to my room and just chilled with him for a while. Then he showed me around the city.

Feb. 21, 2008

Today, I woke up so early to go get breakfast and then go to the aquarium with Chris. We had so much fun. We stayed there for a while and then we went to go get something to eat. We went to some restaurant but right now I can not remember. The food was so good and spicy just how i like it. Then we went shopping for little things. We actually stayed out all night just talking and enjoying eachothers company.

Today, I went to the St. Louis Cathedral and the Marie Laveau's House of Voodoo.  At first I was kind of scared, I do not even have to say why. Everyone knows about voodoo. My uncle practices voodoo and it is no joke. So I saw a lot of crazy stuff and the place kind of smelled a little funny. I enjoyed it. We went to some other place where people were speaking french. He did not know what they were saying but I did, because I take french at school. I mean he is half french so I just don't understand why he doesn't know any french. I guess he is just so silly.

Feb. 23, 2008

Today, we wnet on the Natchez Steam boat cruise. I was kind of scared to get on the boat because I get motion sickness a lot. So, Chris gave me some type of medicine to prevent me from getting sea sick. We danced, ate, and just had a lot of fun. I talked to some other tourists and they were as excited as me to be visiting during sprink break. They were so wild though, drinking and just acting crazy but they were enjoying themselves. Then, we went to the Cabildo. It was very nice. I learned so many things about New Orleans and its culture. I really enjoyed myself.

Feb. 24, 2008

 Today, I went to the New Orleans Museum of Art and the Saint Louis Cemetery Number One. I enjoyed the art museum, becuase I love art so much. I love drawing and just being artistic. I was kind of scared to go to the Cemetery but I managed to go. Chris told me about some ghost stories about the cemetery and he showed me some grave sites of people he knew.

Today, I went to ghe New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum. I learned about the history of voodoo and what people used it for and who used it. I did not want to believe some of the stuff but it was very interesting. Then, I spent more time with Chris and that's really it.

Feb. 26, 2008

Today, I went to the American Aquatic Gardens. Everything was so beautiful. Then, I spent more time with Chris and I packed some of my things because I have to leave tomorrow. Chris was getting a little sad and so was I. I did not want to leave, I was having so much fun.

Today, I went to the Audubon Zoo. I saw a lot of animals but some looked kind of different from the ones at the zoo in  columbia . Well, different animals in different environments tend to look different anyways. I had a lot of fun.

I got all my things together, since it was my last day.  I kissed Chris and told him that I enjoyed speending my spring break with him. I told him that I will visit again and i told him I will call him when I get back to Columbia. So, I got on my plane and did the same thing I did when I got on the plane before. Listen to music and take a nap.
