Dec 07 Just completed getting the funds for this trip. I plan to take my kids to visit my home. My oldest was born in Bury St.Edmunds back in 1994, and the last time she was in England she was 3 years old. Her brother and sister were born elsewhere in Europe, but her brother's one and only trip was back when he was one year old. None of the kids remeber England. They saw grandma several years ago, and they are all very excited to be going. This is going to be a trip of a LIFETIME for them. So where am I on planning this trip. Well I pretty much know I want to be back in england for the entire month of March. Only thing holding me back is the kids passports need renewing. I've talked to most of my old friends and have places to stay while in East Anglia (Thanks Guys! That really helps the budget). And of course I've spoken with grandma, and she's knitting jumpers for all the kids. Clickety-click go those knitting needles... I know she will have them done in time! I've searched the web and found a bunch of places I'd like to take the kids, cheddar gorge and wokey hole caves will be quite a drive... but its been years since I've been there and I know the kids will get a real kick out of seeing them. Think I've found somewhere to stay, great prices just hope they have somewhere open for rent in March (Check out Mira Leisure's site). Orbitz seem to have the best price on everything as far as flight, car, one night hotel stay at gatwick and insurance go. Oh! and I can't wait, its been 10+ years since I've been home properly, and I have so many things I want to do and see.
