Hi there! I just came back from Thailand 10 days ago. If you guys are enjoying Bangkok, wait until you get Krabi. The tour to Phi Phi islands, snorkeling around is just amazing! If you have a chance go to James Bond island as well. The Thai massage in Krabi is really good and the best one is at Ao Nang Bay Resort & Spa. One important tip: it does not matter where you are going, have your toilet paper with you all the time ... most of the public restrooms over there are really "different" than here in America. Enjoy your trip and enjoy the friendly people over there! I miss there already! Cindy

Hi Jenn and Chad,

Hope you are having a wonderful time. Try to post some pics when you get a chance. We had the same problem in Greece with the Islands but would love to see some. Have you been to "The Beach" yet? How was New Years?

Hope all is well, besides the whole cell phone incident. All the pictures are great. Is that jenn getting the back massage from the elephant??? Ha, if it is...she must have been drunk.
Hea sorry to bring you back to reality while your still off on vacation, BUT...We are cleaning the carpet at Dicom on Saturday the 12th (not sure of the time yet) and the guy is going to need access into the building from you guys or mike. We shall figure it out when u get back, just FYI.

I don't know you guys, but it looks like an amazing trip! I lived about a mile from your first hotel for two years, and I just got back on Thursday from a quick return visit. Thailand has to be a collection of my favorite places on earth, from Bangkok to Chiang Mai to Phang Nga and Pi Pi. Thanks for the pics, and enjoy your trip! If you have any time left in Bangkok, some places to check out are:
1. Brown Sugar - amazing jazz bar near lumpini park and the Ratchadamri skytrain station
2. MBK shopping center - shopping overload. then go to Siam Paragon for a movie. ;-)
3. Near your first hotel, if you get on the sky train and go one stop to Surasak, you can get off at...I believe it's exit 3, or whatever spits you out by a 7-11; then turn in away from Sathorn, the gigantic road on one hand, and walk in until you get to Silom. Then, take a right and enjoy a more down-to-earth version of Sukhumvit/Siam.
4. And as you mentioned the infamous buckets.... Sukhumvit soi 7, off of skytrain stop Asoke or Nana. Go down it, and you'll see a faded pinkish-red bus. This is Red Wagon. It's pretty self-explanatory from there. ;-)

Anyway... just a few I was glad people showed me when I first came. Enjoy your trip!
