All in all this trip so far has had excellent roads, smooth, not too much traffic, no tricky turns.
Left Twin Falls and turned toward Pocatello Idaho. Along the way, cattle, hay fields, desert, etc. Drove around in Pocatello, stopped and got lunch and continued.
Lava is a warm/ hot springs along the way. Not a big resort, good place for a stop if you have kids and they can handle the heat. Pretty area.
Then up into the higher elevation of Idaho and through more cattle, fields, fields, mountains and small towns. Roads are still good, two and four lane. This seems to be the trucks choice as well.
Could have swung down into Utah on this journey but found I saved miles and time by cutting across the Idaho hills. It worked out well. All along the way were billboards telling you how far it was to Little America and all the amenities. A big deal in this area.
