Insider's Guide to LA

The best surfing in Los Angeles is at El Porto - the water is dirty and people have been known to get sick, but the waves can be decent. To get there, take the 90 West and get off at Culver Boulevard. Makes a left on Culver and keep driving straight until you hit Vista Del Mar. Make a left and keep driving. The view is unreal. When you see the Chevron station, make a left.

After surfing, I will go to the Walt Disney Concert Hall and check out the LA Philharmonic.

After the concert, I will head to the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles where there is a rooftop bar overlooking the downtown skyline. Watch out for the smog.
