Sicily and Southern Italy (2 Weeks)

This is a 2 week trip to Sicily and Southern Italy. There are a total of 17 days, 2 of which are travel to and from Italy (which I don't count :)), giving 15 days throughout the country. I've been to Rome before, so I only gave it two days... If this would be your first trip there add (at least) one more... if you don't have more time, just subtract a day from Agrigento and/or Siracusa. You'll see that I've noted a Night train or night ferry from Siracusa/Catania on my way to Naples... this is because it's such a long trip (10 hours) that if you were to do it during the day you'd waste valuable sight seeing time! This is based on a "back packing" trip of two weeks... staying in hostels and taking trains. Hotels and car rentals will increase the cost...

P.S.     I highly suggest taking this trip in Spring or Fall... Summer in Sicily and Southern Italy is VERY HOT and Crowded! This is intended as a trip for me in April, so I start in the south and work my north as the weather will get warmer :)
