Shirdi trip - A pilgrimage to Shirdi Saibaba temple india

The samadhi mandhir of shirdi saibaba is built by a sai devotee named Buti during babas life time. Later it was reconstructed in 2000 to accomodate the huge crowd of sai devotees coming to shirdi for saibabas darshan everyday.

I want to write about one purticular darshan of saibaba i had during my shirdi visit.

It was my first time to shirdi...the bus from mumbai reached shirdi at 3.45 Am in the morning..i dint know anything ...i mean about where to stay, if i will get affordable accomodation etc.....i was surrounded by few guides who told me to stay in dormitary for 250 rs per day..

i dunno what i felt, suddenly i started walking behind a bunch of sai devotees..i never know where they are heading..i just felt like following them...Then i saw a big building named "shirdi saibaba sansthan "

i went inside and enquired for accomodation..they told me computer has some problem...so come after 7 Am..i just kept the bag in clock room, took bath there itself..it all took not more than 10 rupees.....

Then just got few roses and headed to temple complex.....We must stand in a long que to go inside babas samadhi mandhir...i stood there for few minutes and by sais grace, i went to the Kakad Aarathi of saibaba...I was sitting tooooooooooooo far but my heart was so close to sai..

I had tears in my eyes admiring the beautiful face of baba in distance...this statue of baba is not statue....trust me its real sai himself expressing with so much of love on his face...it seems as if he is embrassing you whole heartedly with love ...

saibaba accepts any devotion with out rules...there is no rules to pray sai...so all we have to do is show our love on him....our faith is what impresses saibaba of shirdi...we have to feel how gifted we are if sai has called to shirdi...

i enjoyed every bit of the next 47 hours i spent in shirdi...

i stayed in a dormitary offered by sansthan....it was 2006 march 31st...they got 200 rupees and returned 180 rupees.....after that when i went to shirdi with friends, i stayed in affordable hotels..tarriff during unseason was around 400 too 600 avarage....though during season time its hard to get rooms and also they charge more than 1000 to 1500 RS  for same room...am writing this in 2007.....so in years to come it will increase a lot.

if you travel to shirdi for long time try to visit near by places like Triyambakeshwar in Nasik and also Panchvati where sita and ram lived and also Puntanbe to Jangdev maharaj samadhi...
