City

Earlier this year I went to Boston on a site seeing trip. This time, I had a chance to go for a conference. I stayed at The Westin Copley Place. It was a very nice hotel. By looking at a map, Copley Square, looks to be a good distance away from everything (except shopping), but it really wasn't.
The evening I arrived I met some people for dinner at Giacomo's. I think they have one in the North End, but the one I went to was near the hotel. The restaurant is small and seems to be a favorite for the locals. The food is great and not that expense, but it is CASH ONLY, so be prepared.
After dinner we went to the lounge in the Marriott near Copley Square for some after dinner drinks and then called it a night.
