Rolling Hills Wildlife Zoo
The Rolling Hills Wildlife Zoo had the Pumpkin PaZooLa event this weekend (October 13, 2007). This was the whole reason we decided on Salina for our "Mini-Vacation" with our 3-year old granddaughter. There was a beautiful pumpkin patch next to “Kid’s Country” and our granddaugher got to scamper through and pick a free pumpkin to take home with her. There was live music, and there were two inflatable jumping toys for the children to play on/in. If you're ever in the area, this zoo is a must see. We were there for three hours, and enjoyed every minute of it.
However, we did not visit the Rollin Hills Adventure museum. That will have to wait until our next trip to Salina!

Yes indeed you should visit the life like exhibits at the museum. It's really neat.
