We left Battle Creek around 7 am and arrived in chicago around 10 am, 9 am there time. Which was perfect as the Science and Industry Museum was just opening. Be visited so many things in the museum, but missed so much. The main reason we went was for the Star Wars exhibit, which my husband loved. Lots of pictures taken there. After that exhibit we seen so many other things and before we knew it they were closing, we couldn't believe it was already 4 pm.
On we went to find our hotel, which was 30 min from Downtown. It ended up being an awesome place, we were pleasantly surprised since it was only $89 a night. We went to dinner at a little pizza place, very expensive but the pizza was good.
Then we drove to the Hancock Tower in Downtown Chicago. It was beautiful seeing the city at night lit up like that. And all of the things you can do up there was pretty cool. My husband, who didn't even want to go, really enjoyed himself and later said so. The only bad thing was driving downtown on a Saturday night, I got stuck in the loop, which I shouldn't have even been near it, and then had trouble finding parking once we got there. We did end up paying $27 to park, which is a lot I think. After the Hancock Tower we retired to our Hotel room.
Before arriving at our hotel again we decided to have a look around Westmont. Looks to be a very "rich" town. Had several high end car dealerships and stores. James and Dave had to stop at the Lamborghini dealership and have pictures taken.
