First we drove from Pittsburgh to New Jersey......put ourselves up at the holiday inn.
Then, we took a drive to Liberty Park....
Almost missed the ferry....couldn't find the location....really really complicated without a GPS.
Anyway, we got on the ferry, decided not to get off at Ellis Island....but took pictures from the boat...
then, we toured Liberty Island and the statue...

Got some good pictures....toured the inside of the monument as well....didn't get to go to the top as they closed it after 9-11, but did get to take a picture from inside.....just as I thought.......no undies.....lol
Then, we left Liberty Island to head over to NYC and Greenwich Village....
Took some pictures along the way....

My family loves to travel to NYC. We go about once a year as we live in
UpState NY - That would be Adirondack Mtn Region. I always love to hear
of different places people go to, gives me ideas on where to go and maybe
what not to try during the next trip.
This next trip is for the Thanksgiving week, Macys Day Parade for the
first time. (I've only live in NY for 8 years - orig. from Arizona).
I LOVE NY and New England.
Cant get enough of the Green Mtns and Trees.
Fall is my favorite time of year.
