Eastward Ho

Well, we're checked into the Torrance Marriott hotel. Check-in was Tuesday. Katherine's not dealing well with the new environment but I suspect she'll get used to hotel life by the time this is all over with. The movers weren't able to load the household goods on Wednesday as we'd expected; the moving company did not send enough people to do that... just as I feared they would do. Alas, we had been assured by them that our goods could be loaded same day if packing was finished early - I now have a bone to pick with this person. For a corporate relocation, I am extremely unimpressed the people we've had to deal with. We're still hoping to get on the road Friday - fingers crossed.
