I am planning our wedding for Sept 2009 to be in Fiji. Still in the early stages (two years to be exact) but don't want to get caught out. I've collected wedding magazines and brochures, looked at it seems like a zillion sites online regarding weddings, weddings in Fiji, planning a wedding and so forth. So many different resorts and wedding packages to choose from. We want our friends and families there so we are looking for group packages that cater for up to 40 people (flights and accomodation). We live in Brisbane and will have family flying to Fiji from both Australia and New Zealand. I've kinda been tossing a theme "Round the World"as most, if not all the group attending (inviting) have travelled quite extensively including ourselves as far away as China, Canada, all over Europe and tiny islands in the South Pacific.....should be the start of an amazing journey.So why not join me!!!!

How did your wedding go? Hope it was amazing. I had my heart set on the Shangri La but the reviews are making me really un easy, did you get in contact with the cindy Lady.

Hi, planning our wedding at the Shangri La beachside chapel. Iv heard mixed reviews about the resort and am a little concerned, i have heard great stuff about this 'cindy' lady , would you please be able to tell me how to get in touch with her. Im finding it difficult finding things out about how to plan this wedding!!

Hi, I have just finished organising my wedding in fiji. It's an intimate wedding and was very easy with the help of my co-ordinator. Since I got to see all the menus and pricing I wouldn't imagine it to be too hard even with a large group. We're getting married at the Shangri La and Cindy has been brilliant. She is patient and offers good advice (I had another co-ordinator but she was rude demanding money before I even knew what I wanted or what I was getting! Needless to say, I ditched her!)
