Just back from 3 nights in Bermuda-- really nice trip-- cool but pleasant weather (60-65 highs), the Bermudians were terrific-- very friendly and professional!
Elbow Beach hotel is very nice-- views are great, service and food very good, grounds pretty-- rooms clean and fresh; only issue-- rooms are very noisy, the sounds from folks just talking together next door was enough to disturb sleep. Pool area very nice and clean as is excercise room.
We hiked and ran the railway trail each day-- very nice to run in shorts and T compared to back home!
Hamilton is a nice walking town, shopping not exceptional but good, beautiful central park.
Next trip we'll see the caves, take a ferry and go a little later to snorkel and stuff.
Everywhere we ate was very good to terrific! Lobster Pot, Harbour front, Little Venice- all excelled. But our fave (and expensive) was Ascots at the Royal Palm. Start to finish, service, decor, ambiance and food one of the best dining experience of our lives.
Cabs are clean and professsional-- and really not that much more than renting cars (not permitted on Bermuda, T.G.!)
A really first class, beautiful island country!
