I have put a lot of time in planing this trip (over a year). Researching the net, ordering any and all free literature, I read both the Official and the Unofficial Guide To Walt Disney World. I have studied Orlando area maps, along with park maps.
I'm going to do this right and as cheep as I can.
I chose to drive because I like to travel, but more important with 2 adults and 2 children it will be cheaper and more convenient to take our own car. This will be the longest trip with the two kids.
I chose this hotel because of price and location, and the biggest complaints were the rooms smelt like smoke, the sheets won't stay on the bed, and the place needs remodeling (sounds like home). After choosing the Hotel I called directly to the local hotel to book. That way I don't get charged until check in. Along with other reasons.
I chose what parks to go to on what days because i'm not staying at a Disney Resort so I don't want to go on a day that has the Magic Hours.

Billy Boy's Was a great place to by tickets. When I went into the store someone was at a counter talking to someone about timeshare, and I got worried. But at another counter was a guy just selling tickets. He NEVER once mentioned timeshare. I paid the price that is on the website. The tickets worked fine at evey park. I bought over $1200 worth of tickets, and it was fast. Just a note: at Wal-Mart right across the street they were selling Disney tickets for like 2 or 3 dollers more each, but you got a free Disney shirt with each ticket...
