Found promotional internet rate for hotel and contacted the hotel directly to see if they would match it and they got real close so we booked with the reservation desk. That way we did not have to pay in advance and reservation was cancellable.
Bought two tickets to Curtains throug HitShowClub.com Mention that you know a member to save the registration work. Tickets were best available at the time and a discount to full price. They were mailed to our house.
After checking in at the hotel we grabbed lunch to go at Milant Gourmet deli and took it to Bryant Park to eat. Then we visited some other local sights- City Library and Grand Central terminal and Times Square. We came back to the hoel each late afternoon to rest a little.
The plans foor the first night was to see a show, get a drink and go back to hotel but we didn't plan well because we did not have dinner before the show.
