Introduction-Anticipation Growing

My work has been so crazy and hectic lately, that I cannot wait until the start of our trip on Tuesday.  My wife is six months pregnant so we have limited choices to the places and activities that we can do on this trip.  About 1 month ago, we were trying to go to Hawaii, but the airline tickets were crazy expensive.  We had free frequent flyer tickets on American and Southwest.  We were able to get two tickets to Seattle for minimal expense, so we started planning the trip.  We like to use the frommers.com website for the "things to do" and for walking tours, as well as tripadvisor.com for hotel and restaurant reviews.  We were able to use Priceline bidding to get all our Hotels for around $100, while getting a rental car for $14/day from Hertz.  Love Priceline!  Let's hope that the weather cooperates and we have a easy plane flight.

Talk about this trip (7)
Story narrative of family trip is well done. Gives us seniors a loving feeling of what we can achieve when we do the trip this summer (08). Lots of good suggestions.
Thanks

Thanks. Your travel journal on your trip was very informative. We are travelling to both places in mid July from Australia. Many thanks once again.

I am planning a vacation to Vancouver for 2 families in June. Was gonna just fly to Vancouver from LA, but then considered the possibility of driving from SEATAC as I read the route is easy and scenic, other than the wait at the US-Canada border. Although I am still contemplating my decision, your travelogue certainly gave me some insights and ideas as to what to do while in Vancouver.

I am planning a vacation to Whistler and Vancouver. Is it worthwhile to fly to Seattle and drive to those areas?
