This started out as a business trip for 4 days in Singapore for our annual World Conference. After some deliberation I decided to take some extra time to visit China, as one of my "must do's" before I die was to see The Great Wall.
Wed 10/03/07 (day 1)
Arrive Singapore
Ok... so I got here ok. The wonderful city of Singpore. As expected the hotel is fabulous. It is the largest building in Singapore and linked to the Raffles Hotel and a massive shopping complex. The view from my room was fantastic and nothing could be faulted. Tonight I basically unpacked and chilled out in my room. I ordered room service of a well done beef burger and some dry ginger ale to mix a stiff bourbon or two. Not long before I was sound asleep.
