Ajanta & Elora (Aurangabad)

- I checked the train timing to see if that will work and we can go by train. There was a train but it leaves only on Wed. So, the train option was dropped.
- Called Quality Inn (3 Star) at Aurangabad to find out the rates and was told it would be 3200 for a Executive room after discount and 3500 for a superior room after discount (regular is 4200).
- Called around a few places and then finally reached Ajanta Ambassador Hotel, - (5Star). The rates was 3500 for Double room. I brought it down to 2600 + taxes. This includes breakfast for kids and us. So booked the room.
- Time is 3:25 pm and Paami has started packing the stuff.
- Now I need to go and pack and also figure out the road to take.
- Left Pune by 5:50 pm. It was a bad idea to leave that late! The road till we hit Nagar road and even further was packed and bad!!!!!
- The other problem I realized quite soon was that this was the first time I was driving, - going on a long distance journey with my entire family. And it was getting quite dark. Not the best first trip!!
- Didn't let Paami know how scared I was about driving that far at night!
- Prisha, in the middle wanted to move to the front seat and so she suddenly starts screaming 'Stop the car!, When I refused, she started saying, - please mujhe janedo papa!!!!!'
- When we reached Ahmednagar by about 10 or so, I stopped at what looked like a decent restaurant, for dinner.
- Right when I was pulling into the restaurant, Prisha started puking all over the car!
- She had uncharacteristically been hungry, so much so that she actually ate 2 idlis, had her milk and had a few cheese balls! Something had to give and boy, was it bad!!!
- Interestingly, Pranav was sleeping the other side of the back seat and had no clue Prisha was emptying her stomach into the seat and the door! Thank god, she chose to turn towards the door before starting her puking!  Had she been turned the other side and Pranav would've been the first one to know!!
- Thank God we never travel light!!! Paami had packed enough napkins and they handsomely came of help!
- The dinner was exquisite! We ordered chicken fried rice, tandoori chicken and dal and roti. It was good!
- While at the dinner table, Prisha as usual sat at the best seat, on mama's lap! A few min later she screamed she wanted to go do poopu. She often confuses her pipi for poopu. I sighed only thinking that we had to take her to the bathroom again. Paami looked at me incredulously like I didn't get it! And then I heard this faint sound like there was a water tap open somewhere! And then it me, - Prisha had already done her job sitting on mama's lap!!!
- Anyway, before anybody could notice what had happened, we left there at 10:30 odd and hit the road to cover the next 110 km
