My wife and I took a 7 day trip to San Juan and the surrounding Puerto Rico. This was to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. It was either this or Key West.

First Day There

Our first day was spent at the Hilton Caribe. First off the hotel is in need of some renovation. The hilton did have a nice garden where we took a few pics. We were tired from the plane flight over and didn't follow our plan. We just grabbed dinner at the hotel at the Morton's of chicago there. We should have done someting else it was just an average steak for too much money.

Why did you to Puerto Rico if you were going to complain so much! It's just like being here in the states you could get mugged anywhere! I am Puerto Rican and very proud, just came back from a week in my beautiful island, unless you from there you won't really know what it is to visit places that tourist will not see if they stay in the capital.

I was born in vieques. I did not got to see some of the beautiful beaches on the east side of the island, due to the navy. Now i reside in Florida and seen beautiful pictures that never were shown before.

Wow. me and my boyfriend are heading to san juan. we are in the middle of our iraq tour- we are both in the army. i am looking forward to it. thanks for the info and the pics are great. ps. your wife is absoulutley beautiful.

ty for you pic am going there on sunday 2 and yes am p.r it s nice to now that when people go to my island they love it next time go to pinones in loiza at nigth the best and i also love to shop but the place to go is rio piedars its self and very cheap ty and i hope al have a nice time like you
