New Journal Entry

So after a slightly late start (this would be a pattern), we were off on our grand road trip. Driving from Nick's house we made our way up highway 101 with the plan to stop in Eureka for the night. We alternated driving every few hours and finally made it at about one AM in Eureka to stay at the beautiful Econo Lodge. The manager was slightly scary looking and had an unusual bald spot right on the back of his head. Once in the trashy-but-clean-enough room we all had a shot of JD to celebrate the occasion. We then had some lovely pillow talk and slept.

The Oregon coast is woefully unprotected from terrorist attack as the Socialist zealot Michael Moore pointed out in Fahrenheit 9/11. According to his anecdotal docu-facts, there is but one hapless trooper responsible for defending the entire coast of Oregeon and thus our freedom. The camel-jockeys could storm the coast like Normandy and he wouldn't find out for days. Derka Derka - Mohhamaed - Jihad!
Nick - Republic credits WILL be fine, and you WILL trade me Deuce McCallister ( hand waive )

How could you go up the coast of Oregon and NOT stop at Cannon Beach or look for the House in Astoria!? Goonies forever man!!!! Seriously, I loved my trip down to Astoria to see the goonies house and then onward to cannon beach to see haystack rock.

And I love living in seattle :) Have done the penninsula loop many times.
