Thank you for sharing your experience. I was thinking of taking my parents -- 81 and 82 on a trip to Greece and from reading your experience, I can tell it would be too much for them. I think I nice cruise in Mexico would be better.

I am from greece and i just can tell you that your are not lucky.Hotel and people in greece are famous for their hospitallity and they are very familiar. Except that Athens is only for archeological interest ,greece has over 2000 wonderfull islands.

I have been in Athens for two months and it is wonderfull city!!! Τhere are so many options what to do... When I moved there I found helpful information on http://www.facebook.com/cityofathens I became a fan and there are everyday updates about amazing events and so many other things like shopping, restaurants, sightseeing. I also joined them on twitter http://twitter.com/CityofAthens
And the New Acropolis museum is really magnificient!!!
