ATL Baby!

This was a easy going two day trip to Atlanta.  I had fun driving downtown and walking around.  The scenery was nice, the people were nice...it was just nice!  I went to the famed Georgia Aquarium and was a little disappointed.  I think that if there wer more exhibits I would have enjoyed it more.  Especially after paying $24!  I'm a little cheap :-)

I tried to get to the Underground but my Yahoo Map directions got me a little turned around.  Instead I ended up riding around enjoying the sites.  I had a hotel in Smyrna, GA called the Microtel Inn.  The Inn was filthy.  But for $60 a night, you can't expect much else.  The sheets were stained, there was pubic hair on the "clean" towels and the room smelled like mildew.

All in all, I liked my trip because I got a chance to learn the highways, check out downtown (I love skycrapers) and since I went solo there was no one their to ruin my fun!
