After a long flight to Denver to Las Vegas, I was very exhausted from switching planes and waking up at 4 in the morning. At the airport, my mother's friend Auntie Yung picked us up and drove us to the Imperial Palace hotel. It was my dad's first time back to Vegas after 20-something years and he saw a lot of changes! The Imperial Palace entrance was pretty cool..the frontier looked like a parking lot, except it had decoration lights and a club right across, all under 1 roof. How cool is that? After checking in our rooms, I wanted to sleep but at the same time, I was really excited. The room was really nice and clean and it had a floor-to-ceiling sliding door to look out. So Auntie Yung came and got us and took us to different casinos, ones I didn't go before and they were really nice and clean. Afterwards, she picked up her husband from work and drove us to Red Rock Casino for buffet. The food there was amazing! I couldn't stop getting more sushi and this desert, mango mousse in a chocolate cup, was just out of this world! By the time we finished, it was so beautiful outside. It looked like the beach without being on the beach! There was this water fountain and at a certain time, fire would come out. Amazing, right?
So, we went back to the strip to The Stratosphere hotel and I went up to the Big Shot, while they were looking down at the view. I was so scared because it was really dark- at 11pm and I was the only person on the ride. I'm not joking-I felt like I had a heart attack when I was on the ride but it was fun! So we went back to the hotel and it was noisy at night because it was either because of Caesar's Palace's really loud music across or under where the little small vendor shops were but it was alright because we're used to loud.
Love it..
