Left Day 1, 6:30 a.m., for travel 3 hours from Pottstown PA to Easton MD. Visited Maryland's Bay Country Welcome Center on Route 301 South, east of the Bay Bridge, for tourism information; met Tourism Assistant "Pete" Corbin. Visited downtown Easton shops and places of interest; stopped at the Little Rascals Consignment Shop on Ocean Gateway. Drove Route 50 East from Easton to Cambridge MD; 20 minutes. Lunch. Visited downtown Cambridge shops and places of interest. Returned to Easton, checked into hotel; swimming. Dinner. Evening rock concert (2 bands) in downtown Easton; bring your own chairs. Visited the Talbot County Historical Society gardens. Returned to hotel. End Day 1.
