We travelled to Calabash, N.C. and ate at Captain Nance's. The food was wonderful. The fried oysters and scallops were fried to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone travelling to the area. Service was great.
We travelled to Morehead City where we dined on steamed oysters and scallops and shrimp at The Sanitary Fish Market. Once again, highly recommended. Service was great.
We stayed at Tiffany's on Topsail Island. The new accomodations were very nice and clean. The deck was wonderful. We were within walking distance of the beach. I would highly recommend the new Tiffany's.
We stayed overnight in Atlantic Beach. We ate at The Crab Claw. We dined outside to the sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed the Oysters and Harker's Island clams. The service was great---everyone was friendly and did their best to accomodate us. We really enjoyed ourselves.
I would advise anyone wishing to travel from Cedar Point to the outer islands to call ahead for info on the ferry schedules because the trips on the ferries can be very long and the lines can fill up fast. I recommend making a reservation for the ferry.
